KYB Strengthens Technical Support

KYB STRENGTHENS TECHNICAL SUPPORT

KYB has released the first batch of its new fitting videos, to strengthen the technical support available to technicians.

The six videos feature four vehicles: Audi A4 (front), Renault Laguna (front & rear), Mercedes A-Class (rear) and Peugeot 407 (front & rear). All of these models have elements which are difficult when replacing shock absorbers – the fitting videos demonstrate the correct way to replace them. The videos can be found on the KYB website, in the technical section: http://www.kyb-europe.com/videos.html .

Jean François Huan, Senior Product Manager for KYB Europe, commented: “We are working on more fitting videos for both shock absorbers and coil springs, to help technicians with vehicles which can give them problems. We hope that this will become a central place for finding useful support on replacing suspension components”.

KYB is the world’s largest supplier of original equipment shock absorbers to manufacturers (OEMs) around the world, including Audi-VW Group, Ford, Mitsubishi, PSA, Renault, BMW, Nissan and Toyota.  A quarter of all new cars leaving production lines worldwide are fitted with KYB shocks as original equipment. In addition to shock absorbers, KYB Europe also supplies a comprehensive range of coil springs and suspension mounting kits to the aftermarket.
